Internal Synchronization System / Chemical treatment module
Internal Synchronization System / Chemical treatment module
Patch notes: V 0.2.13.122
NEW Internal Synchronization System
A new synchronization system has been implemented to enhance game performance. This system adapts to the computer's processing power, allowing the game to run smoothly in various situations. Threads dedicated to marking synchronization pulses are launched upon game startup. In slower computers, you may notice that 1 in-game minute is slightly more than 10 real seconds. Speed levels (1 and 2) and fast time options adjust the pulse values accordingly.
If the computer on which the game is running does not have the capacity to run the selected accelerated time, the game will run at the maximum speed it can run, without generating inconsistencies.
NEW Experimental Chemical Treatment Module
A new chemical treatment module has been added in experimental mode. To activate it, access the game menu, select the "Chemical Treatment Module" option under the "Simulator" section, and restart the game.
Important considerations include referring to a comprehensive guide on the new module's mechanics:
Note that some features, such as refilling boric acid, NaOH, and water tanks for cleaning, are not yet implemented. Special circulation and dosing pumps cannot be purchased or repaired. AO is not aware of experimental changes and cannot provide assistance. Older savegames may become incompatible with future releases, and savegames from the previous version are not compatible with the chemical module.
